GPA scale??

How does UF calculate the gpa? like on what scale? I know the whole +.5 for honors and +1 for AP/IB
but what scale do they use. since my school goes on a 4.3 UW gpa scale i have to convert it going by percentage and letter grade.

for instance a B+ gpa could be a 3.3 or a 3.4
and a B- could be a 3.0 or a 2.7
get what i mean? like what scale do the go by?
and somewhere on the UF thread someone said that if you have a B+ it is considered a 3.0 but if you have a B- it is still considered a 3.0..... is that true? It was from 2007
anyways thank you!

Forget about what your school says, a B- is the same as a B+, it is a 3.0. An A- is the same as an A+, 4.0, and so on. You then add .5 for honors and 1 point for AP/IB/DE to that grade. You count only academic courses, so your grades in PE or music do not count towards the recalculated GPA.
