hi, i am an international high school student who are graduating next year and want to go to MSU for fall 2011.
I have a very poor gpa ... well if it's transfered in usa gpa, it can be about... about 2.9~3.0 outta 4.0....
but i have toefl score, above 95....
do i have a chance ? Do you think i also need to take SAT also and make it high enuff ?

If you cud just leave a tip based on your or your friend's case regarding admission, reallllly appreciated :)

That GPA is really low for MSU. You need to take the SAT (or ACT if that is offered where you live) in order to even apply. Do that and see how you do on that test before you decide you want to apply to MSU.

Also, please realize that you would be paying the full $40k+ a year for school. Unless you and your family are very well off, I do not believe that MSU is worth that kind of money. Very few schools (ie-none) are.

what do you mean by MSU is not worth that money ? Do you mean its not qualified enuff to pay that much money to that skwel?

First off it’s “enough” and “school”.

Secondly, what I mean is that as an international student, you would be paying ~$45k a year for school. Unless you are independently wealthy, this would mean that you are going into great debt to come here. I personally don’t think any school is worth that money. That’s all.

First off, I KNOW DUH

Second, I see your point, thnx :)
