GPA? Weighted or Unweighted for Penn State

<p>Does PSU use weighted or not? I was always under the assumption it was unweighted. </p>

<p>My stats:<br>
Un: 3.58
Weighted: 4.17</p>

<p>SAT: Math: 770 Reading: 640 Writing: 670</p>

<p>What are my chances of getting into University Park?</p>

<p>I assume that the bubble chart (and thus their process) uses Weighted GPA because the GPA on the chart goest beyond 4.0</p>

<p>But… they use their own weighting method. You can’t go by your HS’s reported weighted GPA. Many (most?) schools do their own weighting. </p>
