<p>do most college recalculate your gpa by putting less emphasis on freshman and sophomore year and more on junior and senior year?</p>

<p>Also do colleges round gpa to the tenth in general so for example a 4.08 would go to a 4.1? Also when looking at a pool of applicants if somebody had a gpa of a 3.57 and another person had a 3.6 would they look at them as somewhat equals if they went to the same school or would the 3.6 person take priority, in terms of grades? After all, their gpas are very close to eachother</p>

Also, high school GPAs have different meanings at different schools, so a 3.57 at some schools is way better than a 3.6 at others. For students from the same school, there really isn’t much difference between a 3.57 and 3.6.</p>
