OK, so Im still a junior right now and up until now I've had a solid 3.9 GPA taking all enriched/AP courses available. However, today I happened to have a REALLY terrible AP calc test... as in one that as taking my -A down to probably like a -B to +C range and its staying that way for the term. So right now everyone is probably thinking that Im just freaking out about a test I probably did fine on, but no really, I've talked to my teacher and I failed. So anyhow, is this the end of all chances into an Ivy League, specifically Yale? Or is there any chance that if I do better in future terms they will over look it. My biggest problem this term is that I was overwhelmed with varsity swimming (4 hours of practice a day) and getting sick/missing class because of getting sick.
Be honest.

term grades don't count -- the semester averages do.

No worries
