Educators debate whether performing several tasks at the same time is too distracting when students are doing homework. Some educators believe multitasking is a bad practice when doing homework because they think dividing attention between multiple tasks negatively affects the quality of a students’ work. Other educators do not believe multitasking is a bad practice when doing homework because they think students accomplish more during their limited free time as a result of multitasking. In your opinion is it too distracting for high school students to divide their attention among several activities when they are doing homework?
Educators and parents are becoming increasingly concerned with students who multi-task when doing their homework. Some educators believe that multitasking derails students from their main foal of completing their homework. Other educators believe that multitasking allows for students to perform other beneficial recreational activities during free time.</p>

<p>Social media, games, messaging, television. What do they all have in common? they are all distractions available to students during their homework time. but their attention between multiple tasks, students are negatively affected Academically. </p>

Temporary knowledge is knowing only the basics of a subject enough to pass an assessment and then forget it afterwards . studies have proven that in order for a concept to get to lick learned it needs to go to long term memory (LTM ); however, by dividing attention between multiple task LTM is impossible.</p>

<p>In addition, some educators may argue that by multitasking When doing homework, students are able to accomplish more during their free time . I agree that they could possibly accomplish more, however quantity isn't always better than quality. Because they are multitasking, students don't give each task that all - 100 percent. As a result, students hinder their success, instead of exceeding a goal, they meet _it. </p>

By not multitasking while driving, people acquire time management skills; They will drive and then and text later. It's similar to not multitasking while doing homework. Students learn to manage their time properly; study first, play games later. this is a very important skill needed to succeed in college and in life</p>
