I took Algebra I H and Algebra I in middle school. I was not told that these grades would go on my transcript, and I also was not told that we had switched to common core so I could not replace these grades. I got a C, and 3 B’s. Keep in mind I took these in middle school. Freshman year to now (I’m a senior), I’ve gotten straight A’s. How much will this impact my admissions? My top school is Stanford, but I’m also applying to UCLA, Columbia, Princeton, and Berkeley among others.
It won’t except that it allowed you to take more advanced classes in HS.
Also, to elaborate, my C was due to the fact that I had to leave to go to India for a family death, and I came back just in time for the semester exam.
It won’t affect you At All. 100%
Don’t even explaining to the college why you had a C. It might even give you an edge. They might think you improved
