anyone can help me ???

For admission purposes, only grades up to Fall 2010 are considered. However, an offer of admission can be rescinded if your grades violate the specific requirements stipulated by admissions.

Edit: See <a href=“Admissions | University of California”>Admissions | University of California;

do you know what is the specific requirement for UCB???

No, but if no users on here can come up with them, you can always contact Cal.

usually it’s maintain a 3.0 or something.

3.0 or above???
But I think it is unfair, because I have 4.0 GPA by now, even though I got two C’s in this semester my average GPA is still 3.90 above.
Why they let me to maintain 3.0…
Suppose that I took this two courses in 2010 fall semester and still got two C’s and in this semester I got two A’s .
What is the difference ??

If you get 2 C’s more than likely both Berkeley and UCLA will rescind your admission, especially if those courses happen to be major pre-reqs. If they are not major pre-reqs you might be able to get away with it if you have a good explanation and get in touch with the admissions office.

Math is not a particularly impacted major at either of those Universities, so if you have one C and you keep your semester gpa over 3.0 you might have a chance.

And finally, there is absolutely no way your overall gpa would still remain at a 3.90 if you get 2 Cs, even if you have a 4.0 now. I had a 4.0 until recently. With about 22 courses (84 units) completed- 20 of them with A’s, I just got 1 C and 1 B and my gpa plummeted to ~3.85. Cs are gpa killers. 2 Cs would most likely bring your gpa to between 3.65 and 3.75 depending on how many courses you have completed with As (the more courses, the less the impact on the gpa)

But you know if I submit the SIR of UCB , and then UCB rescind my admission which means i failed to transfer to any campus , is there any way to make up ??? what should i do??

lol getting rescinded for 2 C’s when the has a 4.0 stop ********ting. I know people who get into cal/ucla with 3.3 so stop making it seem like its liek getting into harvard or something.

Talk to the schools. You should be fine.

Yes, I agree with catfoodjar. At this point, you should deff contact them.

Any closure to this thread?

From what I know, as long as you have >3.0 GPA, you should be okay, especially if the two classes you might get Cs in are not major prereqs.
