Grades requirements after being accepted

Hi, Everyone, let’s say if I am accepted by Andover or Choate Rosemary Hall. Do they have a grades requirement after March tenth and before the end of the year? Will I get rejected if I have all Cs after being accepted?

Yes they will certainly want final grades. I think you are rushing things a bit no? You still should plan to finish strong!

Do all schools want to see final grades?

Most schools yes. To be honest, don’t stress out too much! Even if you get like a B-, its fine. Just try your best and its fine. In my opinion, unless you are getting Ds or getting into disciplinary trouble, the schools will brush over it (again, just my opinion). Good luck

Again, way to put the cart before the horse. You are assuming 2 things:
• You get accepted (I hope you do)
• You will get all C’s (I doubt you will)

Don’t worry about things until they happen, but I agree with @RChen006

If they accepted you, they think you can angel the work and will add to the community. I don’t think they will reject you unless there are serious issues with discipline or a very substantial grade drop

“Angel the work” has a lovely, celestial ring to it. I hope I can angel the work too.

Whoops, handle. Gotta love autocorrect :))

So, guys if I got really good grades in the fourth quarter while having Cs and Ds in the third quarter, will I still get rejected

You’re using the incorrect terminology. Rejection (or acceptance or waitlist) is what happens today. A change to an acceptance after today is called a rescinding of admission.

Anyway, to answer your question, if all the year-end grades are higher than a D, it is unlikely that a school will rescind for a D in a quarter. However, if one of your year-end grades is a D, expect that your admissions offer will be withdrawn. The best way to avoid - get all A’s and B’s. Good luck.
