How much do GPAs (weighted and unweighted) and grades count for college admissions, and do colleges just look at those grades, or do they also look at the big picture (standardized test scores for those subjects and what level course it is)? The reason I ask is because my GPA is usually around a 3.75 (4.4ish weighted), usually with A's in all subjects, and then a B and a B+. Would colleges take into account standardized test scores and the fact that those courses are mostly AP scores (all of my major classes are AP, except for one that is Honors)?

there are a lot of factors in college admissions.
and your gpa can be a tipping factor.
however, colleges will take into account that you had a harder course load than your peers, and they will make allowances for that.

Your transcript will be one of the most important factors in the college admissions process. However, colleges will definitely take the difficulty of your courses into account.
