Hello:

For example, moving after your 9th grade in North Carolina high school system, how does your gpa transfer to a Virginia School system? Our old school used A are 93+, Bs 85+ and so on. The Virginia school uses A+, A, A-. Does my gpa from last year stay the same or is it "translated" into the scale here? If so would what would it be?

Thanks

Hmmm, I went to high school in Virginia before I dropped out, and the change to the A+ system was rather recent as I recall (one or two years ago). The change occurred while I was still attending, and I don’t remember anything happening to my GPA. So I imagine that your GPA will stay the same.

Okay, so If I had a 4.6 GPA according to their A, B, C, D scale in 9th grade North Carolina, it doesn;t get “converted” into Virginia’s scale. Just trying to get my cumulative GPA

Honestly, I’m not sure, but I don’t think it will get converted.

Alright, thanks anyways.
