I was wondering what the required courses are that students must take (specifically about CAS) in order to graduate. I was reading the website and it talked a lot about the core curriculum yet it said that there are other paths to follow. Like are there a certain number of english, math, science courses you must take or are there specific classes that all freshman are in? I will probably be a bio and pre-med if that helps. Thanks.

yeah no one has really replied for this.. so right now i'm kind of scared too

i have one C in calculus, 1 B in english, 2 A's (i think) in journalism and ap 2d design

if i fall down to like 2 C's and 2 B's can i lose my acceptance?

Do you have the catalog? It describes in detail the CAS divisional studies requirement. Basically, 2 humanities, 2 science (1 w/lab), 2 social science, and 2 math.

You can place out of certain requirements if you have AP credit. For example, 4 or 5 on the AP Art History exam fulfills the 2 humanities courses. BU has a chart showing what score you need on the AP exam and its course equivalents. I think a 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus exam fulfills 1 math course.
