All seniors at my school are required to write graduation speeches that are 3-5 minutes long and present them in class for a grade. They're due really soon and I have no idea what to write about or even where to start. Does anyone have ideas on a general subject that would work for a graduation speech or remember topics that have worked in the past? Thanks!

Contrast who you are today with who you were 4 years ago when you walked into high school.
Avoid generalizations and you should be good.

write philosophical stuffs (like meaning of perseverence, honesty, humanity, gratitude, etc that deals w/ life and how to apply them in college as well as for the rest of the life :D) that's what I hear from most of the grad ceremony.

thats the stuff that puts me to sleep lol

(lol!) to me too!

Write a sly satire that details how much you hated high school without outright saying it, so that no one realizes what you said until you're done. And don't forget the ambiguity! Wait... That's what I'm going to do...

cool idea~

NO - these are all bad ideas

Here is what you have to do

either 1. do chubby bunny while delivering a speech and see if anyone notices
2. say a bunch of 2 word phrases that are inside jokes that nobody will get except the person

For example: ill remember.......apples on a sunday night.....cheetos im my ice cream......sitting behind the smelly kid in math class...singing kelly clarkson in from of Shae stadium to make a couple bucks
