I want to stay in Granville Towers this year, because I think I'll fit in with "that crowd." However, I'm worried that I won't be able to meet people from South Campus because I've heard that Granville people stick together... Is this true? Will I be able to venture to South Campus and meet other people?

Also, I'm SERIOUS about schoolwork. I'm pre-med. I like to party, which is why I considered Granville and I want to stay in West Tower. Will I be able to keep my grades up? Or will I be too busy on the social scene?

You’ll be fine in Granville-there are plenty of people to meet there, and lots of people from South actually end up coming to granville to party because its policies are more relaxed.

Definitely stay in granville. The food is better. It’s close to the fraternity houses and sorority houses so it makes rushing and pledging a lot easier. You can bring your car freshman year. Contrary to popular belief Granville is also a little bit cheaper than campus housing. You’ll meet people from south campus in your classes and at parties. That won’t really be an issue. Whether or not you keep your grades up is on you not where you stay. If your serious about your grades it doesn’t matter whether you’re at granville, north campus, or south campus.
