Greek life...which sorority is right?

I am a high school senior and was planning on possible rushing next year at UNC-Chapel Hill i know i shouldnt have preconceived notions about the houses but i was just wondering what each one was known for or wht not... which sorority is the best... what is each chapter known for.. whats there rep and what type of girls does each one attract... thanks in advance

Ask all these questions at your orientation! You have plenty of time and besides, you really should meet the girls before having any ideas.

Your deicsion to rush and choose a sorority house is very personal and shouldn't be influenced by anything else.

Agreed, and I doubt you'd find folks who want to comment about that.

Sororities are very different at different universities, so yeah, it's not a good idea to ask that question here. The preconceived notions I had before I went into Rush weren't really true at all, so I've come to believe that it's best just to go in with an open mind.

Everyone has a different opinion, like the others said, its best to experience it for yourself to find if it is right for you. I almost rushed at a fraternity, but then decided that it wasn't for me because I would be going to the same party for the next 4 years.

search the UNC forum--this question has been asked many times. or you could PM me

ask this on greekchat.com

I think you should get to school first before you do the greek thing.

Greek life is great but its not for everyone and college can be a big transition.
