I’m an incoming freshman trying to decide where I want to live. I like the dorms in Greenbaum and I like the Get Engaged Learning Community. However, I’m told that only 60 freshman live here. I am worried that Greenbaum is so far from the other freshman dorms. Also, I am worried about the noise level as it is by the boot. I think Wall is a nice alternative, but I like Greenbaum so much better. I also don’t care that the rooms in Wall are bigger because I think living in a cramped space is just apart of the college experience! Will I be isolated as a freshman, or is Greenbaum a good option? Thank you!
Also if anyone who lived in Greenbaum could post about their experience it would be much appreciated!
I can’t comment on the noise issue, but I really wouldn’t worry about location as far as meeting people. You are close to JL the freshman girls dorm, Newcomb Hall which is a major classroom building, and the main library. Add those to the fact that tons of people do travel by that location precisely because The Boot and other attractions are nearby, and seeing people won’t be the issue.
Thank you!!!
