GU Transfer Interview ?

Does GU only offer an interview if they think that you might have a chance of getting in?

I was also wondering the same thing, because on the website it says transfer interviews are optional. I guess it couldn't hurt! I have mine tomorrow :)

Don't stress not having an interview. It is optional and the admissions office are aware of it. Either there aren't enough alumnis in your local area or the alumni's are too busy and can't fit you into their schedule. For a piece of mind, I was admitted as a Fall 06 transfer to GU without an interview.

Oh no, I wasn't stressing because I did not get an interview. I actually did get one, but I was just wondering if this meant that I had a chance or not OR if it didn't really mean anything at all. Like is it just randomized and they give everyone who applied an interview if they are available OR do they look at your application and see if they are interested in you before they offer you one? I got an interview and my STATS (highschool) are really bad. I don't even think I have a chance at GU, so I don't want to raise my hopes. I only applied because it would be awesome if I got in/could go and my CC has a preferred consideration program w/ GU I got into. I live like 15 minutes from GU (w/o traffic), so I know it wouldn't be hard to find an alum.

I got in as a transfer without doing an interview, so I don't think it's an indication either way.
