Guaranteed Transfer... Where's everybody gonna go now?

40-50 GT from all of the colleges total? or per college

That's for ILR! lol it was probably me people got that number from but didn't remember the whole ILR part. That's the number for ILR. I'm not sure wat the other ones are...maybe someone from each respective college can post.

Wow, 40-50 total??!!! That's it?!

yeah the FAQ from ILR states that there are around 40-50 GTs who accept the option every year. I should have said that its only for ILR, lol. Maybe the number is a little bigger for the other colleges since ILR is one of Cornell's smallest schools

Wow, what about the numbers for Engineering?
With 7 colleges, each 50 would have been 350 students.......arghhhh!!!

There aren't engineering gts as far as I know. Same w/ arch. I'm pretty sure...

Ooh, so there are only 5 colleges with GT?

so how does Cornell determine who gets gauranteed transfer and who just gets regular? is it based on stats?
I have a friend who's got GT to Hotel... and I couldn't be happier...except for the fact that I might've been able to go to school with him next year had he gotten in.

Each college chooses. It is based on stats and fit. Just the norm...
