<p>Guidance counselors at our school only do their forms by mail (not online), so for common app, I printed the forms. However, in the printed version, the space near the bottom for them to write about me is pretty small, and it says "feel free" to attach an extra letter or reference. Knowing how busy my guidance counselor is, i doubt she'd write an extra letter on her own initiative, and just fill out the little box. However, should I ask her to write an extra letter (going more in depth about my ec's/academics)?</p>
<p>The other thing is, guidance counselors at our school don't really know the students very well...(ie. i don't think she would know my name if she just saw my face lol). So most of the info she gets is from our transcript/EC's lists or resume/other teacher recs. SO do you think it'd be even worth having that additional letter, if she doesn't really know us that well anyways?</p>
