I did AP Stats FRQ in pencil.

I thought what only matters is the carbon in graphite that the answer machines can read it.

Is it going to screw me over?

No. The AP Coordinator’s Manual freely available onoline says to inform students that if they use the wrong color pen or a pencil in the free-response not to worry. Scoring will not be affected. The reason for using blue or black ink is so readers can easily see the asnwers.

lol ^ i have to tell my friend about that
he did the FRQ in pencil and had to go over it in pen lmao

no
i think the packet said its ok to use either pencil or pen
dont worry

^^it did.

interestingly tho, the econ ones said pen only

oh yeah btw i did my stats FRQ half in pencil, half in pen

You should be fine, your case is just like the case when some guy’s pen dies and he is forced to use pencil. They’re not going to penalize that.

I did the stat FR’s in pencil last year and had no problem…
