Guys: Are you embarrassed to call the escort night service at your school?

For the poster who said the escort vans are only for females at their school…That sounds pretty hard to believe. If a male student did not feel safe the school would not pick them up? What school do you attend. I would love to inquire about that and if that is their practice how do they get away with that legally?

I go to Cornell so it gets kind of cold here. I would rather use the service than walk at midnight in the cold and freezing wind. Who cares really? using a service doesnt make you less of a man. Just a smarter one in my opinion

Well, I don’t ever use it because my campus is literally 15 minutes from one end to another if you walk slow, but if it were bigger and more shady I wouldn’t have a problem asking for an escort.

momma-three, not my school. But a school I looked at does have the service only for females.

Western Michigan University. [Student Watch and Escort Services](http://www.wmudps.wmich.edu/police/escort.html)

"The student vehicle escort service consists of up to two vehicles driven by radio equipped students working from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., seven days a week, during fall and spring semesters. These students provide rides between parking lots and residence halls to females. "

Why? It’s free taxi. Use it when they are offer it to you. I wouldn’t think a guy is any less of a guy for not walking back, I would just think he’s lazy/tired more than anything, haha. Although I goto USC in middle of downtown so nobody thinks less of anybody for taking the safety service.

people actually use those?
