aww man thats possible...too many asians in the school already so they might've wanted to level up the diversity lol...

every school needs an arab kid :-D

...though i got rejected. yea dont feel like posting my stats either, their up in some other thread somewhere in the VCU ones. gluck to you all.

aww man...any acceptances yet? vcu eh? cool. i was going to apply there for the med program but i didn't think my stats were good enough...anywayz...who's procrastinating like every other senior?

hah senioritis smacked me in the face this second semester. im getting sooooooo lazy omg. i mean im just ready for college to start...and for prom and graduation. no more school........

i emailed them asking them if I got an interview or not..........i was rejected : (. o well. it's the most expensive school in the country.

how much does it cost? just wondering...don't feel like checking the website...prolly not as much as u of rochester

i think by now if u havent heard ur rejected.......its far 2 late for interviews

sunman, i think GWU is more than Rochester. GWU is the 3rd most expensive school in the united states at around 40k tuition and almost 50k for total yearly cost. But if you get accepted to their 7 year program, they do give you a 7 year by $15,000 scholarship

So does anyone know when the notifications for acceptance are sent out?

No clue. But congrats on the finalist position. Holla back when you get ur decision letter. Best of luck.

finalist? who was a finalist? Oh, yeah, I got a 20k grant from UR and then like 7-8k in loans and work study...looks like i'm not getting into gwu 7yrs...

Thank you. I wish everyone here good luck too. The month of March is going to suck.

I got my rejection letter yesterday. o well.

u know what sux....when ppl apply to a 100 programs...and basically getting accepted to a whole bunch of them...urrggghh...****es me off...why can't there be a binding contract...would help a bit...

Doesn't matter. I bet they do have some sort of waitlist if people don't show up for the interview or if the program at the specific school doesn't have enough people.

Yeah, even if they get accepted to a lot of them, they can only choose one place to go, and that opens up spots at the places they rejected for people on the waitlist. I think it's smart to apply to a 100 programs because you never know what the programs want, and sometimes the process seems almost random.

wait so even if ur rejected, u still have a chance of getting into the program if someone else decides not to take the program?

they already deal with that. they want a certain amount of GWU 7 year students and they know that some will reject GWU so they accept more than the available seats.

No, people that are rejected from the interview and from the program outright can't get spots; but some people aren't rejected or accepted and are therefore placed on a waitlist. They can be offered positions if someone decides not to join that particular program.

j567p, do you know when acceptances/rejections are mailed out?
