Waitlisted with a 35 ACT and a 4.0 UW but accepted into NYU with a 40K scholarship
waitlisted with 3.5 GPA and 2060 SAT. Showed quite a bit of interest. Now I’ve gotta decide whether to accept my position and go through another 2 months of anticipation that will likely end in devastation, or go somewhere else for a year and transfer over.
How do you find your need based financial aid?
Accepted, but not to the school I applied to as my first choice. I applied to SMPA for Journalism, got into Elliott. Anyone else?
Waitlisted with a 3.95 UW GPA, 4.9 weighted, and 33 ACT. Guess I’m going through two more months of pain. Wish me luck.

For your GWid, look in your email and it should be the first or one of the first emails from GW after submitting your application. It’ll look like G12345678, and your PIN will be your birthday (ex., December 10 1996 would be 121096).
I got in to Elliot for International Relations with a 15,000 per year scholarship, but I was really disappointed by the financial aid. For me at least, they were pretty light on grants. I also got turned down from the honors program. GW was my second choice so I’m not really bothered though.
Accepted with a 4.0 GPA and 1870 on SAT, and 20k a year in scholarships!!

I’m so surprised I was accepted, especially with a scholarship! Received a deferral to spring from one of my safety schools in-state and waitlisted by UMich which I consider to be very comparable as far as the academic profile of accepted students, not to mention I’m in-state and figured that gave me better odds. Definitely made me feel even less hopeful about GW!
Accepted to Elliott with 20K in merit! 4.14 weighted GPA, 2210 SAT. Looking at some reactions to GW’s financial aid packages, not looking forward to seeing their grant total once a few more forms are processed. Congrats to everyone who was admitted!

Accepted with 25k but rejected from honors program. 34 act 4.34 W 3.9 UW. really good extra-curricular but ok essay and no interview.
