Gym

How good is Tufts gym and how accessible is it. My current school is really small and actually does not have one and we are required to use a different colleges. If I get accepted to Tufts I want to make sure I will have a place to workout. I am also applying to BU for transfer and I know Tufts gym won't be able to compare with theirs but do they atleast have a decent place to lift?

It's a three minute walk from the quad. Definately got a decent place to lift, don't worry about that. I mean, yeah it's Division III but they still want to give their athletes great equipment to work with.

The gym at BU is MASSIVE though, wow dude. Not sure if they have an actual football field in there or not.

You must walk fast. ;-)

I think it used to take me about ten minutes from the quad.

I believe there is a very nice fitness center near the gym.

I walk so fast I get shin splints when I walk on pavement...true story

I don't understsand why it would take anyone 10 minutes to walk from the academic quad to the gyms. Are you serious? It's just a jaunt down Memorial Steps and about 40 yards down College Ave! 3 min sounds right. I don't think it takes more than 10 minutes to get anywhere on campus. It might take 10 from Lewis Hall to the gyms; but definitely not from the quad!

alright most likely if I get accepted and financial aid works out I would go to Tufts, their campus is much more preferrable to me and I also like Tufts school more
