Gyms at Cornell

I was reading up on the gyms at Cornell. Having been recently accepted ED, I was hoping I could get some insight into the gyms that are on campus beyond their location, the cost to join, etc. Are there any current students who could discuss them compared with other gyms off-campus that you guys have been to?

North campus (where the freshman live) has two within 5 minutes of each other, both of which are very nice. The other two are Noyes (west campus) and in Teagle Hall. Teagle has an upstairs cardio room and downstairs weight room, Noyes is a large gym that most people from west campus and collegetown go to.

So basically the two on north and Noyes are very nice gyms with cardio and weight sections. Teagle has a cardio room and a hardcore weightlifting room where you’ll find alot of athletes.

The cost is $145 for the year.

So one needs to pay $145 each year to go to gym and do weightlifting?
