I understand HAAS is not necessarily looking at their Breadth Requirements this year to judge acceptance, but I'll be missing one breadth requirement (philosophy).. will that be a problem in the application pool if others have it done?

hypothetically, if there was one spot left and there were two applications the school can choose from, and if all else is identical, then the person with more requirements completed will look better.

They want to accept students that are great candidates, and a part of that is to accept students that will actually enroll into the school. Someone with less courses to take before actually transferring provides a better chance of that student making it through. One breadth course may not be significant compared to the next student, but I’m sure it will play somewhat of a role occasionally.

^ Your thoughts are in accordance to mine…I appreciate the reply!

I am curious about the language requirement. How many language classes do you need? I know it’s more then just the one needed for the IGETC.

Two semesters of a foreign language are required.

Okay cool, thats what I thought.
