bonus points if you can complete the question

Yes i believe they do take more CA residents, I think all UCs do, although a could be wrong. And although I did apply to Berkeley, there is no reason for me to post my stats in this thread because they arent even competative really.

i'm from new york and i'm seriously considering transferring to berkeley. on average, what percentage of admitted transfers are residents of california?

But...but...New York...Wall Street...all those nearby internships...drooool

And by the way, if you're seriously thinking about Berkeley, you'll need a REALLY good application. I'm pretty confident that Haas is mostly filled with Californians.

walnut your sarcasm isn't appreciated. i am not interested in finance, so it doesn't really matter if i'm near wall street. its more of the college experience i'm looking for.

What? So you wouldn't like the New York experience? I know plenty of business majors that would love to be in New York. This is why NYU is sometimes placed above Berkeley, simply because of its business opportunities. My friends from Cornell and Berkeley business can attest to this...NYU just has it easier cause there's so many things close by (i'm sure you knew that though). I find many of my Haas buddies working in New York after they graduate too.

That wasn't sarcasm by the way. I'd love to be in New York -- all externships I apply to are in New York. If not finance, what would be your Haas concentration?
