Basically, I’m a sophomore at a cal state, and was expecting to finish all my pre reqs/ 60 units by the end of this semester. I applied to transfer to some of the UC’s as an economics major. (As an econ transfer, Calculus 2 is a requirement) However, I just discovered that the business calculus class I took as a freshman does not fit the pre req requirement for Calculus 2 at my school. Therefore, I have to drop Calculus 2 even though I reported it as being taken this final semester. If I was to get accepted into these UC’s, is there any chance of me not getting my application rescinded because of this Calc 2 class I am missing?
You have to ask the UCs directly.
Contact them directly to see what you can do, I don’t think your chances are shot yet.
That’s going to be tough because econ really wants to see those Calc courses. I would go so far as to say it’s a rejection from UCLA or Cal based on their language on assist about those courses being paramount and to complete early. In fact, having Calc 2 last term
Is iffy in general. But what, you now need Calc 1?
You need to ask the UC, but I’d take a stiff drink first.
