Hadden Scholarship 2015 Questions!!

I have a few questions regarding the youth foundation harden scholarship:

  1. should the "name, address, intended major.." section be typed directly onto the application or handwritten? same for the preliminary financial summary and cost of attendance for the college i want to attend?
  2. should i only include the school i definitely want to attend or other schools i applied to and was accepted? because I've seen on older forums applicants were denied because they already had enough of their school being paid for and thats the case for one of the in state schools i applied to but thats not the school i want to attend. (i want to go out of state)
  3. also, on older forums about this scholarship people have said they received an application request form after sending a self addressed envelope requesting it but i don't see anything about sending a request for an application form on the scholarship info page so could it just be thats outdated info and i don't need to send a letter requesting an application form anymore?

I am also applying for this scholarship is this is what I have gathered-

  1. I typed the entire scholarship using Microsoft Word. The first part of the basic questions of name, address, intended major, etc are easy to type in. The preliminary financial summary is a little trickier because I had to space, tab, change font size to get everything to align and look professional
  2. I would include all schools you apply to. The directions said “I have applied to the following schools”. The directions do NOT say “include colleges I would like to attend”
  3. I believe this is outdated. The only other thing is some have commented saying they included a self addressed envelope in the application materials to let them know either their application was received or to keep them informed of their results. I have done this with several paper applications even though it is not requested just for peace of mind that they can drop it in the mailbox when it has been received.

If you didn’t include a self addressed envelope in your application, how would you be notified if you passed to the next round?

I haven’t heard anything back as well… And I sent an envelope so maybe it’s for the best so far?

Yes, I guess so. We also included an envelope. I sure wish we would hear something before May 1! Good luck to you!

Nope. In the past years, some people have heard as late as June or July.

I got an email Friday saying I was a finalist and they asked me for sone FA info. I have the emails of everyone else who got the same notification, so it was a mass email.
