So this scholarship is a bit iffy. They're asking for all the tax schedules, W-2 forms, and 1099s.
I'm kind of confused with what extra forms they want besides the W2 & 1099. Does that mean the 1044 form as well?
Enlighten me please. Deadline is Feb. 28. Thanks!

I've been looking about and there were past threads about this scholarship as well and it's legit.

Anybody heard back?

@Westside808 Got a rejection. Oh well. Lol. I felt like I was missing something or misunderstood something from their demanding requirements.

@juliaax5 when did you hear back?
I still haven’t heard anything

@Westside808 I received my SASE yesterday.

@juliaax5 did they email you? I haven’t heard anything yet.

@StealthMan Juliaax5 received the self addressed stamped envelope back.
I haven’t heard anything back though.

I haven’t heard anything yet either. But I’m not even sure if they got my application - I sent it via certified mail (which requires a signature) and the tracking website said there wasn’t an authorized person available to sign.

Website says winners are notified in late May, early June.

Received an email today stating I was a finalist and that they needed additional information. Yeah!!!

Just curious - what was the subject line for the email?

@Moonmaid subject line was “need additional scholarship info”
There were 3 individuals the email was address to, me being one.

Anybody else heard back?

I received an email asking for additional financial information but have not heard if I won or lost

I got an email from them a couple days ago asking for additional information as I was selected as a finalist. I sent all the info but was just informed I did not win because I already have enough scholarships to cover the COA for my first year. Oh well.

Committee making decision this week. So maybe we’ll. here back next week?

My son has still heard nothing, but then again that’s not a rejection. He had sent in his financial aid offer from his school of first choice (where he had been accepted early) already, and there was an aid gap shown there, so I’m hoping that maybe he is still in the running. This is such a nice scholarship that I don’t want to give up hope until the end, since he could really use that $4K a year to reduce his loans!

Received an email today stating I won $4000/yr renewable!
