Hanging stuff on concrete walls

Does anyone have any tips for hanging things on the concrete walls in the dorms? I have tried double sided tape in the past to no avail. I recently tried those hooks that are supposed to "hold strongly, remove cleanly" but they came crashing down after about 20 minutes.

I'm sick of looking at bare walls so if you have any advice I'd love to hear it.

Well what are you trying to hang? I use 3m stuff, but it depends on the weight.

A cork board and a framed poster. I would also like to get some unframed posters in the future and don’t know what to do with those either.

The tape didn’t work for me either so I just got some thumb tacks and a hammer. I nailed the thumbtacks into the wall and since they’ve repainted so many times, it stuck pretty well. I think that’s your best bet and they won’t leave too much of a mark

I used command strips both last year and this year and never had a problem. Try these ones- [Picture Hanging Strips](http://www.command.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/NACommand/Command/Products/Product-Catalog/?PC_7_RJH9U523080QE0IIHEICN90GC1_nid=02FTXDLQ2LbeF0GFSQ26BSgl)
