1) dono
2)dumbledore
3)ginny
4) there were a few sparks in the past, you know ...so i'd say HECK YES
5) dono

Half-Blood prince=Dudley Dursley :)

Don't know why HBP is important, so don't care(scuse my ignorance)

Dumbledore

Luna

yes, and putting money on this

Some random new dude

I hope Harry gets some vicious battle scars. I also hope he kills and tortures people. That would be awesome.

Oh, and I really really hope the series turns out to be a tragedy.

whew, im not the only harry potter mega freak who doesnt care much for hagrid

and sagar, you seem like a very pleasant person! lol

I read this description of the HBP somewhere - 'rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows. He had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp.'

Obviously not someone we've met before.

Godric Gryffindor maybe? Or is that too obvious?

man, whats with all the Hagrid-hating going on? :)

^ his accent typed in the book makes it a tad uncomfortable for me to read.. and also, he's just BORING. all his adventures are just boring. his obese girlfriend is boring. i don't like him. im sorry.

LMAO. sucharita, you probably either read it on a fansite, or on Rowling's website. She released that tidbit a few months ago.
If you read the later books, they tend to be darker and more appropriate for adults. I believe her target audience is much older than what people believe. If it increases the number of children reading, most people are all for it.
1. New character/Seamus/random small character
2. Dumbledore
3. Harry shouldn't get together with any of the major characters. Perhaps Katie or someone we haven't heard much of. He'll probably end up with Ginny though (ewww!)..
4. Only if Ron/Hermione become evil... or Hermione breaks Ron's heart and he becomes evil. Only in fanfic and dreams.. They'll probably get together in the series though.
5. Hoping it's Mr. Diggory or maybe even Harry! Eh.. another dream unfufilled. Probably someone random though.

NO ONE LIKES HAGRID. hes stupid, really.. you just have to grit your teeth through the times when he talks. we all want him to die :)

Half-blood prince? Hmm..well, if you take that quote right there (although i didnt know that quote was about the HBP)...its pretty obviously Lupin...hello! he's a wolf..he's got a mane and yellow eyes, kiddies..

Godric Gryffindor...this is an interesting theory because the description of having a mane and yellow eyes remind me strongly a lion. Lion is the emblem of the Gryffindor house, isnt it?

Anyways, I think Hagrid is awesome. Sure he may not be as smart and nimble as the rest of the other characters but his unique characteristic of being who he is (including his language) contributes so much to the story. Where else would Harry, Ron and Hermione go for advise or for just a break of green tea?

still, Hagrid should die. there's NO EXCUSE for his attitude towards Krum.

squeals 25 hours and 32 minutes!!!

hahaa... i dont think im gonna read it continuously this time like i did for book 5.. i'm def gonna need naps and snacks.

Hagrid must NOT die. I really like his accent as it is a part of his character that makes him stand out. Hagrid is a sweetie and i don't care what others think but he will always be one of my favorite characters.

Hagrid must definitely die. He and Grawp made the fifth book unbearable.

Kill him off I say!

(I just hope Lupin doesn't die. I'd be really sad if Lupin died :()

Random thoughts:
No idea about the half-blood prince.
I like the idea of Harry/Ginny -- Ginny grew up a lot in Phoenix, and she's a lot more interesting now. Harry/Luna would be fun, too.
I think Ron and Hermione will get together, but later realize that they're not suited to each other (their personalities are too different).
I don't want Hermione to end up with either Ron or Harry at the end -- she shouldn't be sent off with the hero like some kind of trophy wife. They'll only be 17, anyway. I'd like to see at least some of the characters happily single by the end. :)
Hagrid can die (I feel awful saying this, but he annoys me).

I personally would like to see
Snape in a bigger role. :D

I don't have a specific reason for disliking Hagrid. I mean, his giant-ness and his speech are what make him unique. But sometimes I can't help but think "oaf" when I think of Hagrid. I feel bad because he really is a nice and caring character, but...

I heard on the radio that Harry Potter loses his virginity in this book.... but, can you imagine? Maybe they were joking around. He doesn't even have a girlfriend yet, and he's only like 15 maybe 16?
