I was checking over my admissions portal and found that academic work was recently uploaded on my account when I haven’t sent anything. The submission was made in the middle of the night when I’m not even awake so I am sure that it could not have been me (unless I was sleep-submitting lol). Does this mean that my account has been hacked? Is this something that other people are seeing on their profiles?
Nothing like that on mine, did you send anything supplementary in the past?
Nope
That happened on my profile. I have no idea what that was. I received a likely letter and will be admitted with regular decision so I don’t think it’ll affect your chances at all.
This happened on my child’s portal as well. It is the upload of your high school mid-year grades. Just one computer talking to another computer in the middle of the night.
@unknowntypist Thanks that’s really reassuring. I still made sure to change my password just in case.
when does harvard usually send out acceptance letters
^^ @hamstargaming: By ivy league rules: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth and UPenn send out their regular decision notifications on THE SAME DATE, which this year is March 30th 2017.
@unknowntypist I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. Harvard received my mid year grades as noted on the checklist, but nothing about the upload of academic work appeared with them.
The same thing happened to me. I was freaking out trying to remember what I sent them at 4 am lol.
The same thing happened to me today… Still don’t know what it is
Lol a bit late to the party but I had ‘Academic Work’ uploaded to my portal late December. I mentioned this on the discussion thread but I was unfortunately ignored.
I don’t think it was midyear grades because the ‘Academic Work’ was uploaded late December and midyear grades were finalized at my school mid-January. Could it possibly be a supplemental letter of rec? I remember submitting one to Common App for Harvard and it could have just taken them a few days to process.
