@redcloud17 A bit more than that lol.
About 56-58 hrs.

My portal isn’t gone, looks exactly the same as yesterday?
@redcloud17 How about two more “sleeps” (if you’re in the US.) lol Or how about two more nights that you’re suppose to be asleep but you’re tossing and turning and stressed instead? But you know what? It’s all going to be alright. Anybody that is confident enough to apply to Harvard even as a big reach feels there is something about themselves that can contribute to the Harvard community. That means you’re going to do just fine in your college search and land on your feet in this life regardless of this result.
@jordanheston Not the portal. The FinAid section in the portal. Its replaced with a statement. Means nothing regarding decisions, but its a definite sign that the admission cycle is nearing an end.
I cant agree more with @apparently22 I have a feelin’ we’ll all be happy by the time april rolls around. Lol.
@TheGuy1 Oh! I see, yes mine is gone, too. But my Yale portal is gone completely. O Fortuna…
I’m from central MA. If I didn’t get an interview, it’s pretty safe to assume I didn’t get in, right?
@apparently22 omg yess! I’m sure the last few months from starting the application to waiting for results now, has been the hardest and most anxious time for us all. But regardless of the outcome, I hope everyone finds whatever it is they are looking for from uni- Harvard or not
@greenfinger Again, no it is not. All students that did not get an interview are not negatively impacted by lack of resources, alumni, etc. Even if one was in your region and you still weren’t offered one, it does not mean you were rejected. We will all be rejected on other metrics!
@greenfinger THe dynamics for in country interviews are different. Hence no. Its a no anyways.
The reasons they give are valid for a no interview. But u never know. I’d say a good chance is no, and an interview wasnt offered to u by the reasons given by them.
@greenfinger I’m totally at a loss as to how the allocation of interviewers were carried out. I live in the arsehole of nowhere in Ireland and got a face-to-face interview, yet my friend in London didn’t get an ED interview even though Harvard interviews are not applicant initiated in the UK, i.e. they’re meant to be emailed directly, like in the US. But most importantly of all, I’m still coming to terms that an actual Irish person went to Harvard at some point XD
I am an international student but I currently live in a small town in MA, about 30 minutes away from Harvard so there are tons of alumni in the area. I think this makes it easier to get an interview and I would assume all applicants in this area receive interviews although I have no idea.
Once one hits the submit button on the application, it is safe to assume that one is not getting in. At least that way, 3% of you will be pleasantly surprised in 3 days.
So does anyone know exactly what time decisions are released?
@compSciLover Most probably 7pm EST on thursday just like the other ivies . Btw I remember you from the Stanford Rea thread!
Has anyone from the ED deferred list gotten anything from Harvard? There’s been zero communications since December when decisions were released. Don’t hold much hope but just curious.
@sdlivin2019 Not that I can recall. I think it’s been total silence for me as well. I didn’t send any updates until just a couple of days ago though, so I’m not sure if things would have been different if i’d sent updates or anything.
A little over 48 hours! The wait is killing me
