Harvard Interviews

Why is that no one remembers what were the interview questions? Everyone just gives a vague answer. So, Let me ask specific questions
1st Who called? Was it you? or the interviewer? Did you greet him/her?
2nd What was the first question he/she asked?
3rd How did the interview head from there? Did the interviewer just gave you an open ended question and let you did all the talking or did he first gave a little detail about him/her and his/her institution and talked most of the time?

It was a while back so I dont remember perfectly. However, the interviewer called and we greeted each other. We both spoke for a fair amount of time. He also told me about his institution when certain questions required him to do so.

Sorry if I couldn’t be of much help :/

How did he begin the interview?
“… So tell me about yourself?” Was it like this? What did you greet each other Good Morning/Evening/afternoon? It must be different time zones. What questions did you ask him? You must’ve prepared a list of questions, right?

Yeah it was like that kinda. And no he’s in India. I didnt prepare a list of questions as such. Just questions about specific research opportunities which had sprung up while I was looking the college up.

Feel free to PM me if you have further questions. I’m a little busy but I’ll be glad to help as much as I can.

Also @peepingtom: You have a year left. Don’t worry about the interviews now :)
