Harvard Interviews

Wow. That’s quite a number of subjects you’ve got there. Given any AS exams?

There’s also a slight probability that I’ll take Comp Sc. next year when it becomes available, and thinking about adding another foreign language and Global Perspectives (for the AICE diploma).

Yes, taken most of them upto A Levels (especially the heavy ones with more than 5 papers like Phy and Chem), but the rest I’ll just take out in a single sitting.

I mean AS level, most of them upto AS level.

@StanCardinal …which city are you from? An interview this late looks like a VERY good sign! They are probably considering you seriously. All the Best!

Oh nice how were your grades/ unit marks?

Though it would be of no help, I am just curious what Harvard is looking for. Any common thread linking those who got interviews from India? You know, like how international Olympiad medals is one common achievement that most MIT admits from India have…

@Conscience13 : so does this mean that early interviews such as mine are less valuable? :P

Ignore. Can’t delete via phone

hahahah!!! not at all!!! you are one of the probably less than 10 people to get interviewed; how on earth can it not be valuable? and do bear in mind, most of those who are interviewed do end up getting in or waitlisted, whether they were interviewed in Feb or March.

I was just thinking out aloud… All Indian applications are read by one admission officer responsible for India. Yet, some get their interviews in Mid-Feb and some as late as now. So I was wondering what the reason might be. Probably re-evaluation by another admission officer, etc.

Haha I should keep my hopes at a minimum xD

As in all of them.

Oh nice keep it up.

I’ll try. What about you? You’ll be graduating high school this year, which A2s are remaining?

I have certain exams in all subjects remaining. I have to start studying for them or I’m screwed :O

same here, I’m about to get my A** kicked by Cambridge! But let’s not deviate from the topic.

You make a good point. Let’s see if someone has a list of harvard interviewees like the corresponding MIT list.

I think the list on 2nd page is quite exhaustive because if there were any more, they’d have come jumping to this thread! @QuarkAssassin What was your interview all about, please give us the details like type (skype/phone/person), questions the interviewer asked you, duration and how did you think the interview went?

It was a skype interview. We talked about my interests etc. It was around 45 minutes. I really enjoyed the interview.

That’s it??
