My kids applied RD, but had their apps ready to go Nov 1. They both were interviewed in November by Harvard, and either November or December for Yale.
What about international applicants??? What are their chances of getting interviewed??
Yo I’m from the UK so technically international I suppose but not as much of a statistic as, say, Chile haha. ANyone else here from across the pond?
and chances of getting interviewed (I would imagine) as an international student may not necessarily be dependent on your application but more on whether you can physically be interviewed (if you live in a isolated cottage 3 miles from anywhere they may consider it inconsequential). This is only my opinion tho
Hi I’m most likely applying RD to Harvard and I heard that Harvard is recommending that applicants submit their applications by December 10th so they can start reviewing them sooner. Does anyone know if this is true? I think it makes sense because they are almost done with the SCEA applicants at Harvard and will move on to RD applications soon.

Hey can you guys tell if my chances of getting accepted would diminish if I don’t send my sat scores until January?im taking the January sat.
@rahuilmars231 Most schools don’t accept test scores taken after December or after the application deadline because it takes like a month to get your scores back. You probably won’t get your January SAT scores back until February and that would be really late since the Harvard app is due January 1st.
Yea but Harvard specifically says on the official website that they accept January scores. Other school don’t, however.

I think the website says to try to get everything in by December 15th. It’s under the more in-depth timeline.
and it’s just a RECOMMENDATION. Not a requirement. Deadline is sometime in January.

Just going to chime in here. I got deferred, so I’m in the pool with all of ya’ll. 
I can’t even think about Harvard until after I hear from my EA on Tuesday. So. Tense.
