Harvard rejects, where you going?

Columbia or amherst…I am crushed!

yale yale yale! :)

Stanford stanford stanford! :)

rejected by Middlebury and Harvard. not really disappointed:)
this year most probably I’ll go to Hong Kong University or Moscow State University, but in any case I’m looking to transfer to Deep Springs College. so surely I got a lot of work waiting:))

stanford stanford stanford! i want a spot at yale. lol no but really, pick a place you’re gonna love.

i got rejected by Harvard. Oh well! I’ll probably apply for graduate school…

I’m PROUD to say i’m going to be at UNC-Chapel Hill (which had always been my first choice) on a full ride. : )

and guys i think that wherever you end up going, if not Harvard, doesn’t mean that you will not be successful. Yea, i wish i could be saying “I got In” but it’s not the end of the world, on the contrary i think it opens new doors for me.
It is all about how you use your resources at the school where you will be spending your next four years. If you keep thinking about what it would have been like at Harvard then you will miss out on a great experience at your new college!

good luck everyone!!!

I didn’t get into Princeton or Harvard or Yale or Chicago.
I’m going to Middlebury and then re-try this whole Harvard thing in four years. Probably for the same result.

Princeton! or possibly Penn

For all you Harvard rejects: I was rejected by Harvard (and we are in GREAT company!), many years ago. So, I went to Boston College and had a great experience. I applied again to Harvard Law, was admitted, and I’ve gone on to have a very satisfying legal career. So, apply yourself and have fun at whatever undergraduate school you’ve gotten into, and IF you’re still interested in Harvard, apply again! Good luck to all of you–you’ve all been admitted to fantastic “runner-up” schools!

I’ll be going to Boston College. I was rejected from Harvard and U Penn, but I’m surprisingly not upset. I’m in the Boston area, which is what I wanted.

Cornell or NYU ; currently in deciding session

This time next year you’ll look back and say “What was I thinking? I love Yale! Who would ever want Harvard?”

My daughter was the opposite of you. She got rejected by Yale her first choice but acceptd by Harvard. Went to Harvard and loved it. You’ll love Yale just the same way. It’s a great school.

OP, I would do anything to trade you for the UPenn acceptance.

I’ll see what becomes of my waitlist status at Vanderbilt, Georgetown, and Columbia.

Columbia 2014!

You all are naming the dream schools for U.S. college-bound seniors.

Already committed to Chicago back in early February. It’s the place for me. Harvard was a “what the heck” application. Oh, well. Completely expected it. I’ve got a full ride at Chicago, so I knew I would be going there over any other school. Woo hoo!
