Harvard Spring Transfer...?

I know at Brown they say that historically, it is significantly easier to be admitted if you opt to be considered for the spring semester.

Is this true for Harvard too? I was just wondering.

nooooooooope.

is it harder then?

also, are the deadlines sooner? (because you're opting for admittance into the spring semester, it wouldnt make sense to have the same deadline- which is rather late)

All fall and spring applicants have the same due date (last year Feb 15th I think). The admissions committee then evaluates all fall and spring applicants at the same time.

I think the difficulty of gaining admission is the same for fall and spring. On the application, there's a box that can check if you want to be considered for both fall or spring entry.

why would it be significantly easier to get in as a spring transfer? it's harvard for christ's sake.

red92, are you going to Brown in the spring?

im going to boston college. i dont know what to do with myself with no school for an entire semester! good luck at Harvard. thats really exciting.

not that im applying to harvard (too late. im already going to be a soph). I just didnt realize they had the spring option too.
