harvard.

I was rejected too, but I only applied for ****s and giggles.

I would like to know someone who did get in...it seems like all of us have gotten rejected.

I just learned that I was rejected as well.

I'd like to know of someone who got in, too. I'm sure one of the people on this board -- besides nattibee -- got in. Sorry for everyone who got the bad news today, don't let it bring you down.

I was waitlisted. In a way, I wish it was a straight rejection since Yale has accepted me and I'd prefer some closure. Now, I'll still probably have Harvard in the back of my mind -- do I still have a shot? should I wait till July? maybe I should just start getting psyched for Yale? I'm tempted not to pursue Harvard anymore and just give myself some closure.

But since Harvard is, well, um, Harvard, I'll probably b****-out and reply to the waiting list.

hakbar, can I ask where you go to school now? Last year I had a friend who applied from Dartmouth to Harvard as a transfer, got waitlisted, and then accepted.... I hope this helps inform your decesion.

Alright, I got in! Now I have to decide between harvard and yale...oy.

Phoniex, I go to a community college here in the Bay Area, CA. What about you? I'm sorry about the bad news! What are your other options?

Thanks for the interesting information. I'll definitely keep that in my mind.

I just got the email--deliberated waiting, and then clicked--I got in!

Hakbar, I go to the University of Chicago, so staying is here is far from being a bad choice. Even if I get into the other two programs I applied to (stanford and georgetown's sfs) I will probably stay here.

certain and notsure, congrats....

Can you post the acceptance email?

As an economics major myself, I've heard a lot of great things about the University of Chicago! Definitely not a bad choice to stay there.

I was at the Stanford campus about a month ago, and I think you should definitely consider it if you get in. Depending on your own lifestyle, it could be a welcome change from Chicago.

Notsurewhere, that is definitely going to be a tough choice. Congrats --you should be really proud of yourself. Choosing between Harvard and Yale is having to choose between (insert your own comparison of the two amazing things in any other category, here).

Certaincertainties -- congrats! I'm happy for you.

thanks so much, now i have to figure out how to reach my dad who has been trying to call me all week to find out...poor guy ;)

Rejected too. Oh Harvard, why must you hurt me so? :(

Still no closure. Relieved to not read another rejection, but all too reminiscent of when I was given my EA decision (deferred, rejected months later). Maybe I should start taking my earlier advice...

Taiyfangshi, where do you go to school now?

rejected...no surprise there...congrats to everyone who got in!

That is, in California.

I will be finding out Monday since I didn't ask to be notified by email.
