What is the most interesting book, apart from those assigned in class, that you have read in the past year?</p>
<p>i think the only thing it'll help is to show that you're willing to challenge yourself academically. like that you took a course over the summer when you could have been slacking. and if you get an A in a harvard course.. that CAN'T look bad.</p>
<p>The impression I've gotten is that at least if you are applying to the caliber of school that the typical College Confidential user is... no, it won't really help you. I don't think taking courses at an Ivy would help you more than doing something else productive over the summer - a job, internship, or course at a local community college, for example.</p>
