I wasn’t accepted yet. How do I check my status or find out? I applied as a bio major! thanks!

[CSULB Enrollment Services](http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/applicant.html)

I applied sometime in early November 2011 and received an email stating that I will be notified by early February 2012 if I made it to the second round or not. I haven’t heard from them since and were now in March. So the wait is getting pretty intense. Not really sure if calling the school will make any difference, but I have been told that since I applied as a Biology major, the process might take a little longer, as it will with most impacted majors. So…i’m waiting…

Well, my transcripts were finally received by CSULA and I sent them out at the same time as CSULB. So hopefully there is a response from CSULB within the upcoming week…or even tomorrow (I wish).

@ecuriosol have you tried using the admission status check on their site?

AHHH, today is March 1st! I know a variety of people got into CSULB weeks ago but there are still handfuls of people patiently waiting for the news. It’s nerve racking but at least we haven’t been denied yet. Let the admission decisions begin…
Good luck to everyone and that includes transfers and incoming freshmen like me :)

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted and good luck to all of you who are still waiting!

We are just now booking a flight to go visit campus. Super excited!

Housing opened today! Anyone submit theirs yet?

@jaythe65 I check it everyday! haha, it doesn’t seem to have been upgraded since I first received notification from the school. This makes me a little worried about my chances, but I haven’t received any rejections yet either so…I’ll just keep on waiting.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I can’t wait. This is killing me Anyways hope we get to hear from them soon.

I called them again because it isn’t February anymore… He told me to give it a few weeks because they are working on it and stated that they are “in limbo”… Not sure what he meant… Anyone else tried calling?

I’m a transfer and haven’t received any notification whether I made it after their initial review. My major is not impacted either.

Just got accepted as a Health Care Administration major. I sent my documents about a month ago and the system wasn’t updating. Called them, and resolved the mix-up. If I didn’t call I don’t know what would have happened. Anyway I am super excited. CSULB was my first choice.

Major: Health Care Admin B.S
Transfer from Orange County
GPA: 3.89 (at the time of application, it has gone down a bit, lol).

Well anyway, good luck to everyone! I suggest calling if you are really concerned, it worked for me. :-)

@rtgee888 I’m a health care administration major too! (:

still waiting like many of you guys…
geography major 3.5 gpa (at the time of the application) will have 69 semester credits by the end of this semester
trying to transfer back to cali from CU Denver
nervous and very impatient!!
anyone have any idea when the last admission letters will be sent out???

gahh i’m still waiting for my admission and now housings opened up so I know everyone is gunna just apply for RLC and I won’t be able to room there, harsh life. Atleast I havent been rejected though :p

jaythe65: i agree rejections are bad news and very depressing
what are you majoring in? ur gpa? (if it isnt to rude to ask)?

jaythe65: Ugh! I wanted to dorm in RLC too. Of course they didn’t send the rest of their acceptances before the date to register for housing, just our luck! I guess that means we’ll be in the residence halls All we can do is just hope we hear back soon.
:)
