<p>The most recent update I am aware of pointed to an answer of No, Unfortunately. Hopefully they do pull people off the waitlist this year but judging by recent history, it seems like it would be a near miracle. Don’t take this in concrete, but I remember reading somewhere on here that even when they pull ANYONE off of the waitlist, the percentage is disgustingly low (under 5%). I am pulling for you guys who are on.</p>
<p>Oh, Ambrose1214, I hope you’re mistaken this year. I hope they take me and also BucknellHopeful. With a user name like that, it would be awful if they didn’t accept him too!

<p>I think this week and next are the time when it would happen, if it does, after deposits are in and they know their yeild numbers. Like their waitlist letter instructed, we all have to move on with our plans to attend other schools, but we can still hope for the cell to ring! I like to think that I did everything possbile to increase my chances, and now it is out of my hands.</p>

<p>I got off the waiting list on Monday. I resent my updated resume and a letter attached, last Thursday. I would suggest doing that because it makes your admission counselor open up your file and look at your credentials again. I am from Texas as well, and they probably are not sure if someone from Texas would want to come all the way to Pennsylvania, so I would suggest reaffirming your interest.</p>
<p>Thanks for the tips, y’all. I sent them a copy of my third quarter grades and a letter from our band director. I’ve been emailing the Bucknell pep band director since winter (maybe February?), who said he’d walk my items over to Admissions personally. Sure hope there’s a phone call/email tomorrow! <p>Son got a call yesterday offering admission. He was told he had to reply within 24 hours, has already accepted at another very good school and will be making a tough decision today.</p>
<p>I’m still waiting here! i haven’t gotten anything. no phone call, no email, nothing, nadda, zip, zero. AND it’s killing me. </p>

<p>Well, it’s 5:40 in the afternoon here in Texas and another day passed without a call or email. I wonder how long Bucknell will keep contacting waitlisted students? At what point should we who have not yet been called throw in the towel and consider ourselves rejected?

<p>you are the most encouraging post-writer on this thread! We all still have a chance - it is stilll only 3 days into the week that they START to turn to the waiting list. Each time there is a post saying an ivy accepted a student from its waitlist, that changes all other colleges like Bucknell. (and there have been alot on those other sites)</p>
<p>If you see tons of people flood this thread saying they are getting calls, or if you get a letter saying the class is fiulled, THEN move on. and I will too…</p>

<p>My son decided not to accept offer of admission from Bucknell, he will be attending the school he previously commited to. Hope this opens up a spot for someone in this thread!!</p>
<p>ok so i haven’t heard ne thing yet. But i just called admissions and they said there will be a email that goes out on friday. So i’m guessing if we don’t get a call before then, then we are pretty much not in.</p>
<p>I just called a couple of hours ago. The young lady who answered the phone said, “if you live in the philadelphia area, the letters went out today.” That applies to me, but I can’t speak for other areas. Hopefully I will have some good news in a day or two.</p>
