just wondering if they’ve sent out rejections yet…

they wont stop accepting people until the end of march at earliest. just because the THOUSANDS of applicants and admitted students arent on this site doesnt mean people arent still getting little bundle of joy emails daily.

if you havent been accepted, you werent a part of the first round pick, as you might say. you still have about 5 or so weeks to wait to get rejected at all. i think i remember reading that the last applicants from lastyear to be admitted heard some time in the first week of april.

i received a rejection letter today.

are you serious? a letter? not email or anthign?

well it wasn’t a straight forward rejection letter, but i perceived it that way. they said they would reserve a spot for me in the fall of 2010… lol.

^ wait that doesnt mean you were “rejected” though!

That actually sounds like an acceptance letter. You did apply for fall 2010 right?

yes they did. i applied for fall semester of 2010 and they rejected me for 2010, but placed me for 2012 instead. which i took as even more of an insult. they are basically saying, come back with better grades, let us see that you’re competent and we’ll take you. :p

Wow thats weird. I have never heard of a school doing that. So they are saying come back as a transfer student?

can you clarify what the letter said? Could it be that you were waitlisted? If so, does that mean that you are guaranteed a spot in a later year under certain circumstances?

Do you mean Fall of 2012? I’m just gathering that from your subsequent posts.

^ sorry that was a typo. meant to say 2012.

stated in the letter:

"Dear Stan,

To reserve your place in this entering class and maintain your space in the Guaranteed Transfer program, you must meet the following conditions:
