has anyone gotten into a top school (HYPS ect) with one B/B+ (the rest As) on their m

OH MANNNN

community college for you!

Reminds me of the time a scholarship ambassador came to my school to talk about public service scholarships.

"It's not true that you need straight As to be a President's Scholar. A few years ago, there was a President's Scholar who got one B."

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/640545-now-not-time-worry.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/640545-now-not-time-worry.html</a></p>

the usual question around this is how badly a C grade in a single class hurts chances where all other grades are As, high test scores, great recs, and solid ECs.

My gut feeling is that a C hurts significantly and the adcom does not have enough time to discover the reason -- therefore easy toss into the reject pile.... and that a B does not hurt at all.

B?? *** is wrong with you ??
B is automatic rejection even if it is in PE wth were you thinking applying to ivies with a B???
forgot abt ivies. it's trip to local Macdonald's for you.
