good to know. My daughter has been waiting over a month for her first choice of the science faculty… no news on this yet, but still happy with getting into arts and nursing. Hopefully she’ll know before the local area admitted student reception.

I’m still waiting on science too, Row. Still “reviewed decision pending”. I’m a US student.

Just got in!!!

Me too…But dont know which faculty to choose

what is the deadline to notyfying international students??

So I recently found out that I was wait listed at McGill, I was just wondering if anyone could see any reason why?
UW GPA: 3.88
SAT
cr:600
w:650
m:700
SAT II
French w/ listening: 800
Math I: 620
I also told them I was willing to swim on the swim team and plan on taking the AP Spanish, European History and Calculus BC exam this May.

One thought I had was that I put in the high school I attended High School in Italy last year with AFS and then they asked for the transcript (which had failing grades since I did not know the language at the beginning of my year abroad). Maybe they thought I just went to the high school as an Italian, other than that I don’t really get it.

What faculty had you applied to? The minimum SAT for Life Sciences is 670 in each section and for Management and some other programs it is 650 in each section.

I applied to the Faculty of Arts

I got accepted to mcgill (status is “Accepted - Pending Final results”) for the BCom Program.

im an international student (canadian) doing the International Baccaulaureatte (IB) diploma and am predicted 36/42 points. (BCom require 35)

However i did raelly bad in my practice mock exams which we do 2-3 months before the finals. I got 29/42 points

Will doing badly in the mocks affect my acceptance?

Accepted-Not sure if I will like Mcgill tho, anyone thinking this?

how much is the deposit when you accept your offer of admissions?

@McGill Hopeful Its 200 CAD

SATs:1920
ACTs: 30

Has anyone gotten straight up rejected?

My friend got straight up rejected a while ago. She turned her application in November, heard by early January. I don’t know what her grades are for sure, but I think she got a 1960ish on the SATs and has about a 3.6 GPA (unweighted). She called admissions just to check, and I guess the major factor was that her chorus classes didn’t count as an art credit for McGill, which is one of the admission requirements?

Accepted to Bachelor of Arts program
