<p>Transfer Student for the Fall of 2012, Has anyone heard from New Paltz or Oneonta yet?</p>
<p>I applied to both about Nov 18th, still waiting for decision .</p>
<p>I got accepted to SUNY New Paltz today.</p>
<p>I got my acceptance in the mail today. So excited, can’t wait to visit again.</p>
<p>I meant to say I received my acceptance to New Paltz, still waiting for Oneonta.</p>
<p>My son is anxiously awaiting notification from New Paltz- he’s on the fence with his stats so it’s not a sure thing, but it’s his first choice. His online status reads: Your application is complete and a decision will be made shortly. Thank you for your patience. Did anyone who was accepted have that status at any point?</p>
<p>@smithmkt, I had that status on my newpaltz page for about 1-2 weeks before finding out I got accepted. They actually still haven’t changed it yet. They have so many applications to go through they probably just haven’t had time to update it yet. I’m sure your son will hear very soon! Good luck!</p>
<p>Well, that’s good news, at least it doesn’t automatically mean a rejection. My son applied 11/22 but the transcripts were not sent until 12/6. He has a 84 gpa and 1820 SAT (1200 CR+M) I know his gpa is low but I’m hoping he squeaks in.</p>
<p>His SAT is really good! I’m sure he’ll get in. My SAT was lower than that (1180), although my GPA was a 92. Let me know the results!</p>
<p>Today, My daughter just received her acceptance letter to SUNY Oneonta as a transfer student.</p>
<p>Argh! came home today to find a large envelope from New Paltz - hoped it was an acceptance but it was just a big brochure! It would be cruel to send that out if it was going to be followed by a rejection !</p>
<p>Just received an acceptance letter today from New Paltz. Application was completed and received to New Paltz on January 2, 2012</p>
<p>It says I’m in on the website, but I have yet to receive a letter - do they still send snail mail?</p>

Strong upward trend 77avg freshmen To 92 junior year and 95 mid year grades of senior year (I sent new paltz my mid year)
No ec’s (just some community service), I work a lot though that’s why
It sucks cause if they wouldn’t count my freshmen yr and use my mid year senior instead my GPA would be a 91 
stupid 13/14 year old me!</p>
