<p>My admissions officer said that I’m at the very top of the waiting list for nursing at UCONN. If nursing people start withdrawing their applications, I could get a call in mid-April instead of late May! </p>
<p>we will be withdrawing her uconn app soon… was waiting in hopes to see if any extra money comes through but right now it’s more expensive than all those other schools which I found to be very strange. So kayyx3dee hopefully you can take her spot!</p>
<p>D heard from Northeastern regarding her deferral today…she was accepted into Nursing! If she decides to enroll, she would do the Northeastern In program and begin with a semester abroad. It is good to have choices. I just updated her FAFSA to include Northeastern. I would imagine that would impact any aid, since we are a full month past the due date. Best of luck to all who are still waiting!</p>

But…she’s only mildly bummed. It was a reach for her. She has lots of choices that she is happy with so it’s all good.</p>
<p>D was just accted to Northeastern after being deferred from EA. Also, I had forgot to update the list earlier with Marquette.</p>
<p>Last college we are waiting on is Virginia. Still waiting for either a Army or Navy nursing ROTC scholarship.</p>

<p>My daughter just heard from Northeastern…rejected after being deferred EA. She is still waiting for Villanova; was also deferred from EA. She’s not keeping hopes up though. Fortunately she has lots of options…was accepted in honors programs for nursing with good merit packages at the following schools
UNH, Drexel, St Anselm’s, UMass Dartmouth, Salve Regina, Westfield St (MA). Will prob choose either Salve or UNH.

<p>Two notifications in one day…after such a long wait was welcomed. My D has been accepted to Villanova and wait listed for Univ. of Washington. Just one more week before we hear from the last school.</p>

<p>Rejected from Villanova…second rejection but fortunately her sorrow lasted about two minutes. She is so happy with the other schools that accepted her and knew both Villanova and northeastern would be almost impossible to pay for that she never truly let herself make them her number ones. But if she got in we would have seriously looked at them again. Its all works out!</p>

Good morning. I always wanted to know what the colleges look for.
My D will be attending UVA. YAY !!! We have already decided.</p>
<p>Full IB Diploma, As, other classes are AP, very good SAT scores ( above 700s ).
We are in state.
No hook, not legacy, not URM. </p>
<p>UVA Nursing has their own information sessions on various Saturday if you get a chance to attend. There is an Amtrak Station close to the school & local airport is 30min away from school. The Nursing classroom building is right across the street from the UVA hospital.
UVA also recommend 2 SAT II subject tests, so you may need to have your D think about them.
( there are no SAT test dates during summer. )
