I'm starting to become concerned because everybody from my school who is attending UT Austin has already received their housing information while I haven't. However, I did submit my housing contract the day before the deadline, so that might be a factor as to why my information has been delayed. Should I be worried? I've already attempted to email the housing services of UT, but to no avail. I hate the anxiety that comes with being a college freshman.

did you deposit your $300 dollars before the deadline (may 1st i think). Also if you were not 18 at the time, did you print and mail in your housing contract? My suggestion to you is to contact the division of housing by phone…good luck.

I attended a school where more than 90% of the kids were on a subsidized lunch program, so I didn’t have to pay the $300 deposit. It does say that I have an active housing contract and that they hope to see me there for the 2009/2010 school year. It also says that they have received payment, which was waived.

I just received an email from the Housing Staff:
Room assignments are beginning to roll out and will continue over the next few weeks. You will receive an email once your assignment is available.
Thank You!

This is very relieving. I was beginning to worry because everyone I know who is attending the school has already received their room information.
