No, I applied October 31st and have not heard yet.
I submitted my application on October 19th and received a confirmation email on October 24th. When I received my acceptance letter in the mail, it was dated November 7th.
@indianahopeful I also applied on 11/1 and have heard nothing.
Has anyone heard back yet?
Heard back a weak ago accepted
I applied by the Nov. 1 deadline & heard back about a week & a half ago.
I applied 10/16 and heard back 10/26. I was impressed with the speed.
I applied 10/31 and havent heard back yet. What does that mean?
For those that haven’t heard, what does your portal say? Does it indicate everything has been received? Does it say you are under review? I would be checking to make sure IU has everything. For some people it just takes longer. It seemed to take forever for my Daughter to get her acceptance and she applied early. Seems like some reviewers are just slower than others, plus there was a holiday in Nov. that I’m sure slows things down a bit.
They delayed the SSA due date because they had an unprecedented number of applications they said they were still trying to get through, btw
My D already submitted her SSA but looking at it yesterday I noticed the due date seemed to have been changed by a few weeks.
Where did you hear that the SSA due date was changed?
@NiceTaco my D has already submitted but when we go to the Scholarship portal we are able to check on what we’ve submitted as one of the LOR’s is still outstanding. When I click on the printable version of her app, the first page was saying the due date for the application was January 4th. That is different than the date of the original app that told us December 16th. That is the only place I have seen it but I haven’t really been looking since my D submitted her SSA app early December. Below is what it actually say’s on her cover page from the printable view of her app.
IMPORTANT: Your SSA must be completed and submitted online on or before 01/04/2017.
Yeah, I’ve also gotten several emails saying it’s now due on the 4th. Which is good because I haven’t started my analytical essay. Still working on the IFLE application which is due the 19th
